" Collision Shops are often taken as dumps, and the work we do as not being environmentally friendly. I wanted to make the point that it can be. It’s expensive at first, but balances out in the end.”
-Dan Sullivan, Owner
Ever wonder what we could do with old tires and plastic bumpers? At DJ Sullivan Collision Center, we send them off to be shredded and made into mats for playground floors, or turned into mulch. What about old oil? Well we've thought of that too. Oil vendors take it back to be sold for heating. Headlights? Yes, even those are recycled at DJ Sullivan Collision Center. They can end up as soda cans and other types of containers. Even paint can be reused; left over, unusable paint is put into our solvant recycle system to be turned to lacquer thinner. Rain water is gathered on the roof and stored into a container underground that is used for our sprinkler system.
